Welcome to Chef De Quinn, the deliciously chaotic corner of my world — where cravings turn into creations, and recipes? Well... they're more like guidelines I rarely follow.


I do look at recipes, I might get inspired by them… but let’s be real — from 100 recipes, I probably follow 10% (if that). Why? Because I’m stubborn, I like doing things my way, and let’s face it, laziness is a powerful seasoning. Just take a peek at what I did to that Hainan chicken rice yesterday — full-on remix mode!


Sometimes I cook to satisfy a sudden craving, sometimes for someone who asks nicely (or hungrily), and sometimes because the rice cooker looks too peaceful and needs a challenge. This space is not for textbook techniques or chef-approved plating. It’s where garlic oil drizzles become poetry and sambal gets its own plot twist.


From tender chicken tales and lazy rice hacks to steamy broths and cheeky chili sauces — this is my kitchen playground. Unfiltered, unscripted, and unapologetically me.
